Here’s one that was made for Max’s song Bright Blue Eyes, set to the images of Ah! My Goddess. Even if you don’t know the show, it’s an entertaining video so click it and have a look!
Bright Blue Eyes is one of the songs from Max’s 2nd album.
Right Time (alternate version) - This song was recorded at Andy Bopp’s house with me playing all the instruments. It took about an hour. it appeared on the RPM records release “Fuzzy Logic”. This was my first solo venture.
The same day I recorded a version of “Fix Me Up” (later on “Screech”), however this song is lost and gone forever.
Easy come, easy go…
My friend Johnny Riggs gave this version of “Right Time” some substantial airplay on 99.1 WHFS back when they were good.
Push/Pull - I like this one because it’s so wierd. This was recorded in Nick’s room at Big Bang Audio while we were demoing for “The Ballad of You and Me”.
Quite different from anything else i’ve ever done.
Tattoo - This is a rough mix of an out-take from “Ballad”. It’s about playing local shows at home while in the middle of a tour. This used to happen a lot.
It’s always great to be home, but it can also be a tremendous pain in the ass. Good memories though.
The Cafe Tattoo used to be our favorite gig at home, sweaty, smelly, and sold out. just how i like ‘em. too bad it’s gone.
