Max is a singer / songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.

He was born on July 11 in Baltimore, MD and was a member of seminal power-pop band Love Nut with whom he released 2 albums and toured the U.S. and Europe extensively.

After Love Nut broke up, Max moved to Los Angeles to pursue a solo career.  He released his first solo album “III” with Steven J Flores (Bass) and Daniel Douglas (drums) in 2011.  In 2013 he released “Screech”, and in 2014 “The Ballad of You and Me (Take 2)”, both in collaboration with longtime friend and musical partner Nick Bertling.

In 2017, he released “Where We’re Going And Where We’ve Been” with the max Mueller band, composed himself on guitar and vocals, Steven J Flores on bass, and Chris Cotton on drums.

Max’s influences are an eclectic mix such as The Beatles, Foo Fighters, ELO, The Pixies, and Black Sabbath.
